Pride Night Thursday
The PTO is hosting a Pine Lake PRIDE NIGHT this Thursday, September 25th, at Hawthorne's Pizza in Huntersville.
Mention Pine Lake Prep and Hawthornes will donate 15% of the profits between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. back to school! Take a night off from cooking and join your school community.

Fall Pictures
Reminder that Fall Pictures will be taken at the Upper and Middle Schools, Tuesday, September 23.
NAVY shirts and khaki bottoms must be worn for photos (except seniors).

Mark your calendars and bust out your crock pots to develop the perfect chili recipe. NovemberFest is scheduled for Saturday, November 15th beginning at 4 p.m.
The second annual event will feature an introduction to the athletes representing Pine Lake Prep's basketball, cheer and swim teams; a chili cook-off with fabulous prizes; s'mores by the campfire, and opening night of the Lower School Book Fair.
You don't want to miss this unique PLP event!

Dear Pine Lake Prep Families,
A huge Pride THANK YOU to all those who made the Annual Boosters BBQ a huge success! Special thanks to Maggie Honaker, who led the effort, and the Bozzacco family who donated 500 pounds of the barbecue, and the Kye-Timberlake family who came through when more barbecue had to be ordered!
So many students and family members contributed - by dishing out BBQ plates, baking for the bake sale, staffing the tables and games, getting pies thrown in their faces, and providing the musical entertainment - it was a community event in the truest form.

- Upper School Curriculum Night, 5:30 p.m. (Parents please know your child's schedule as you will follow it to meet with each of your student's APs in order.)

- Annual Membership Meeting and Board of Directors Meeting, 6:30 p.m. at the Upper School Seminar Room

Annual Membership Meeting Wednesday
Sept. 24, 6:30 p.m.
The Pine Lake Board of Directors will host an annual meeting:
Wednesday, September 24th, 6:30 p.m.
This meeting will precede the regularly scheduled board meeting. Chris Terrill, Head of Schools, will deliver a "State of the School" address focusing on a 2013/2014 year in review, and 2014/2015 goals. If you cannot attend, the annual meeting will be video recorded and be available on the website.
