Vail Golf Club Director of Golf Alice Plain and Aspen Glen Club Director of Golf Steve VanDyke were elected to full terms on the West Chapter Board of Directors on Thursday at the West Chapter Spring Meeting.  Both will begin their three year term at the upcoming West Chapter Fall Meeting.

Joe Kamby, Assistant Professional at Country Club of the Rockies was elected to fill a vacancy on the board and will serve through the Fall Meeting in 2018.

Two teams tied for first place after firing 9-under-par 62 at the West Chapter Spring Meeting Pro-Pro Scramble.  The two teams were Ben Welsh, PGA Head Professional at Frost Creek Golf Club and Ari Papadopolous, PGA Head Professional at the Norman Course at Red Sky Golf Club, and Tim Tafoya, PGA Head Professional at Bookcliff Country Club and Nick Perry, PGA Assistant Professional at Omni Interlocken Resort.

Registration is now open for the National Car Rental Colorado Assistant Professional Championship set for July 31-Aug. 1 at Highlands Ranch Golf Club.  The event is open to Class A-8 Members and all Apprentices must be eligibly employed and in good standing at the time of entry and their Section's entry deadline date.
