I had a friend ask me last week, how to figure out how much soil she would need for her big pots on her deck. For a moment I was like a deer in head lights... I know that answer but it seems every year I have to figure it out all over again. Different hats, different times of the year.

are planting a tree or a shrub into a pot, you would not want to use something like this, They need the room for their feet to spread. I, uh, personally know how they feel. It is still a little early for most perennials and annuals..... she says chomping at the bit.... But a small selection of Proven Winners have landed in our large greenhouse... patience my dears, soon will be the time.
