Planning & Managing Local Road Snow & Ice Operations
A CT Road Master Program REQUIRED Workshop
Access to better information, improved equipment and integrating the latest best practices into their operations are helping communities across the region to be better prepared for Winter.
This class will provide detailed information on all of the above and give participants a chance to practice what they have learned through storm scenario exercises.
Who Should Attend  
 
This program is designed for those who have responsibility for snow and ice control activities of state and local roads. Highway Superintendents, Road Foremen, Crew Leaders, Directors of Public Works and Town Engineers are encouraged to attend.
Course Instructor 
 
Paul Brown is President of RoadTech, Inc., a consulting company specializing in road management and pavement maintenance issues and formerly the Director of Snow and Ice Operations for the State of Massachusetts. Paul has been teaching road building and maintenance classes for LTAP centers around the country for several years and has been in the construction industry since 1979.
