Explore the Boards and Commissions Overview to find the service opportunity that fits you best, then attend the reception on Thursday, Aug. 24, 6-7:30 p.m. at Haggard Library, 2501 Coit Rd. Representatives will answer your questions about each board. Complete the online application by Friday, Aug. 25. Watch Plano Joe explain what boards and commissions do.

Upcoming City Council Meetings are July 24 and July 26. We return to the normal second and fourth Mondays schedule in August. Planning & Zoning Commission Meetings are the first and third Mondays of the month. Allagendas and minutes are posted online. The meetings can be watched live on Spectrum Channel 16, Frontier FiOS Channel 30 and 31, or anytime at planotv.org.
The next City Council meeting is Monday, July 24 with the regular session starting at 7 p.m. The second meeting for the month is
Wednesday,July 26 at 5 p.m. and it focuses on the 2017-18 budget.
Next Planning & Zoning Meeting The Monday, July 17 Planning & Zoning Commission meeting will be at the Plano Event Center, 2000 E. Spring Creek Parkway. The temporary location change is due to minor construction in the Council Chamber.
