Bluebonnet Trail Closed for Repairs
Texas heat has subsided and you may be planning to hit the trails connecting our City's park system. Be aware Bluebonnet Trail, between Blue Ridge Trail and Alma Drive, is closed as we rebuild portions of the path. This scenic one-mile section is an 8-month-long project. It began last week and will widen the concrete hike-and-bike trail from 8-feet to 12-feet, bringing it up to current standards. A Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon will also be installed at Alma Drive to help trail users cross this major thoroughfare. More project details are on the Parks and Recreation Blog.

Plano Recreation Online Is Now Live

If you enjoy City of Plano Parks and Recreation classes, you are going to love the new online registration system. The new system,  Plano Recreation Online, went live on Nov. 1 in time for winter registration on Saturday, Dec. 2. You can even use it now for fall classes too.

Plano Recreation Online replaces the Leisure Online system and brings many great features, including the ability to buy or renew a recreation membership online and to register for multiple activities at once. The search options are very flexible - keyword, age, day, time, location and more.
  • If you have not taken a class in the past year, you will need to set up an account. Follow this helpful video to get started.
  • If you have taken a class in this past year, relax, staff has already set you up. With your email address, just sign in and click "Forgot Password" to get your login information.
