The Ballard High School Wind Ensemble will perform at the Washington Music Educators Association State Conference in Yakima on Feb 16th
This is the first time that a Seattle Public School High School Wind Ensemble or Concert Band has been invited to perform at this highly competitive event, which draws applications from schools throughout the state. The Ballard High music group is one of only two schools selected for the Band Concert Hour, which is the most prestigious and sought-after performance opportunity for school ensembles.
The WMEA State conference takes place every two years and involves approximately 2,000 music educators, exhibitors, and professional musicians & performers from across the state.
