Welcome to the Elle Foundation's Memories of Joy Newsletter
Welcome to the first issue of One Elle of a Newsletter - the Elle Foundation's quarterly ePublication that is your source for information on the Foundation, Elle's Kids and our events.

The ELLE Foundation is the only wish granting organization whose primary mission is to grant wishes for children with a recurrence of cancer. Granting second wishes requires an extraordinary financial commitment, but our Lauren's passion inspires us every day, and our dedication to giving these deserving children a chance to forget, to laugh and to find their  inner spirit is unwavering.
We are proud to say that we are an all volunteer run 501(c)(3) foundation and 93% of every dollar raised goes directly to granting wishes. Thanks to our generous sponsors and donors we have granted over 20 wishes just in the past 4 years.

One Elle of an Imagine Dragons Wish Come True

Kyle's wish was to meet Imagine Dragons - the first meet and greet wish for the ELLE Foundation.

Kyle, who was first diagnosed when he was three, is fighting Rhabdomyosarcoma. He was recently diagnosed with a very unexpected and rare recurrence in January of 2013, at the age of 12.

Kyle has been off therapy since November of 2013.

Lymaris with Tori Kelly and Entourage

Lymaris' wish was to attend a Tori Kelly concert and meet the artist. Both Lymaris and Tori have a love for music; they both sing, play the guitar and have a way of making others smile. Lymaris has been a fan of Tori Kelly's from the first time Tori posted her music on youtube.

Lymaris was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of age 18, and will remain in treatment until 2016. The Elle Foundation stepped in to grant her wish, our first primary wish, as, at age 18, Lymaris is over the age limit for Make-a-Wish.
