Please join us March 7th for "Scaling Up Small Businesses in Queens," presented by The Center for an Urban Future with the generous support of Santander Bank.

Featuring a panel of Queens-based entrepreneurs and small business experts, this forum will explore how to turn more of Queen's great small businesses into medium-sized and large businesses.

Borough President Melinda Katz will make opening remarks and panelist will include:

  • Gregg Bishop, Commissioner, NYC Department of Small Business Services
  • Janice Fredericks, CEO & Founder, Fabulous Freddy's 
This solutions-focused discussion - the latest in a series of five forums , one per borough- is aimed at better understanding the strategies that will help more small firms in Queens grow to the next level as well as the challenges to the growth of local small businesses.
