You will receive directions about how to connect via computer or phone.  We look forward to being with you and sharing a love for Creation and the unfolding story of Fox Institute for Creation Spirituality.

Deep Ecumenism is one of the core principles of the Creation Spirituality tradition. More than just interfaith dialogue or tolerance, Deep Ecumenism is about both understanding and experiencing the depth of our spiritual traditions, from East to West, from our oldest indigenous traditions to more recent emerging traditions. This is understood through the image of “one river, many wells”: the diversity of the many traditions is represented by the wells; the unity of divinity and cosmos is the river. Both diversity and unity are honored in the Creation Spirituality tradition.
While Creation Spirituality has been articulated as an expression of a Western non-dual tradition, it can also be said that the creation-centered tradition is found in all of the great cultural traditions of humanity. The Fox Institute is committed to providing a spiritual education that respectfully honors the diversity and beauty of these great cultural traditions. At our June webinar, we will hear from faculty members of various faith traditions about their own experience and vision of deep ecumenism and how it is expressed in the context of Creation Spirituality education. We hope you will join the conversation!

FICS Grand Opening Gala--October 21, 2017
Join FICS professors and leadership in a cornucopia of celebration! We will host a smorgasbord of FICS offerings from focused talks to short art as meditation experientials. The evening celebration and dinner will celebrate the birth of our new school as well as the tradition that has supported it.

Professors who teach courses the weeks before and after the celebration will participate in the jubilee - to include Matthew Fox, Bruce Chilton, Mirabai Starr, Larry Edwards, Chuck Burack and Mary Reaman. Additionally, other faculty are traveling to Boulder to participate and share a taste of their upcoming classes.

On Shabbat, October 20 th  and on Sunday, October 22 nd , many of the professors are volunteering to participate in and/or lead worship in local synagogues and churches. Fox Institute is commencing with a clear intention to be a part of the wider community, to be a resource, and to be co-creators of compassionate action.

Whether a UCS/Wisdom alumnus or a new student, plan to take an FICS course in October and include the celebration as part of your stay.  Apply and register now  for classes and stay tuned for registration details for the Gala.

If you are a UCS DMin graduate and you would like to volunteer to be on the weekend speaker's bureau, offering leadership to local spiritual communities during our celebration weekend, please contact Kip Hubbard, Director of Outreach and Marketing, at  [email protected]
