"We all go through trials in our lives, and if we know the Lord as our Savior, He is such a comfort to us in those deeply difficult times. I have been going through one of those difficult times, and today my concerns were confirmed. I have breast cancer. It's fairly aggressive and the tumor is pretty large. I meet with a surgeon tomorrow and should be having surgery as soon as it can be scheduled.
I don't tell you for sympathy or for attention. I share with you in hopes that you will pray for me as I go through the lengthy treatment ahead and for wisdom in the decisions that need to be made.
I know God is in control, and that His love and mercies are immeasurable. His plans are for our good, and I am submitted to His will.
