The Community of Hope at CSMSG announces a new training program to be held at the Church beginning in January of 2017. The COH is a Christian community of lay pastoral care-givers united in prayer, shaped by Benedictine spirituality, and trained for pastoral ministry. Lay pastoral caregivers are taught a ministry of presence in order to bring the presence of Christ to the suffering. At The Church of St. Michael & St. George, Community of Hope members give spiritual care to people in hospitals, prisons, nursing homes, homeless shelters, and private homes. Please consider joining this very personal and important ministry. The next class will meet 5:30-8:30 PM in the Svedrup Room on Thursdays, January 5-March 30.
