VOLUNTEER HIGHLIGHT
Thank you Sydney!
The Hockley castle and sensory course received a much needed facelift from Hockley volunteer, Sydney Shultz. Sydney chose SIRE for her senior Creative Action Service Project.

Hockley's Sensory Trail includes elements specifically designed to address various senses and motor planning skills and provide an array of therapeutic riding activity opportunities.  "I just wanted to do something that will add value to SIRE and the riders - or at least brighten their day!" said Sydney.  Read Full Story...
NEW FACES AND SAD GOODBYES
SIRE is losing two great team members. Kelly Henderson, SIRE Client Relations Coordinator, has decided it was time to retire, though rumor has it she will still be volunteering at Hockley.  Jewels Castro, our Hockley Volunteer Coordinator, will now be asle spend more time traveling with her husband who works out of state quite often. It is so sad to see these two wonderfully dedicated people move on to new adventures, but we wish them the very best. Jewels, Kelly, you always have a home at SIRE,.

Say hello to our new team members. Laura Sartwelle, will be taking over as our Client Relations Coordinator and is also a certified riding instructor. Michelle Skrawonski, already an instructor at Hockley, will be coordinating all the volunteers at Hockley as well. Please add your voice to ours as we welcome Michelle & Laura.
