Cranes.jpeg

Dear St. Bernard Residents,

This weekend, four new ship-to-shore cranes destined for the Port of New Orleans Nashville & Napoleon terminal will be traveling up the river.

The cranes will be temporarily docked on the West Bank, just upriver from the Domino Sugar plant. During that time, they will be lowered into a position to safely travel under the Crescent City Connection bridge.

Because they will be highly visible, we wanted to inform you that the cranes will be docked in St. Bernard temporarily, are to be utilized at the terminal in New Orleans, and are unrelated to the proposed Louisiana International Terminal in St. Bernard Parish.

Sincerely,

The Team at the Port of New Orleans
