Portland Public Art Collection
"Letters of Support"

Friends, Neighbors, Customers, and Local Businesses,

Vespa Portland is very excited to be in the process of collaborating with famed local muralist Larry Kangas and the Regional Arts Council (RACC) to create a huge mural that is 10 feet high and 65 feet long for our NW 23rd street wall.  The mural brings the best of our NW Portland neighborhood, mixes it with some old world European charm, celebrates our community, and doesn't forget to to make us smile.*  The RACC's Cheryl Norton [email protected] is collecting letters of support** through Monday April 15th, please take a moment and write a quick email.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to offer wall space to Portland's Public Art Collection.  It will be quite a piece of art!

Paul and Maggy Henry

Owners, Vespa Portland

*Note the NW 23rd items in the mural, such as the horse statue and the swifts at Chapman School.  The Besaws logo and Dragonfly Coffeehouse logo will be off in the final drawing on the wall but the similarity to their storefronts will be recognizable.  Because this is a part of Portland's public art collection, it cannot have company logos in the drawing.

**Example of Letter of Support.
Council Members of RACC,
I am writing in to support the Mural that is proposed at the corner of NW 23rd and Vaughn on the wall of Vespa Portland.  Public art is an essential part of our wonderful city and this mural will be a great addition!
