Greetings!
We`re leapin`into your busy day to highlight what's happening at Langley Pos-Abilities Society in the next few months, so here goes......
Name That TOAD Contest
Introducing Our New TOAD Mascot
Our new  TOAD  mascot came LEAPING (as best she/he could, given the wheelchair!) into our minds at Pos-Abilities!

The problem is.......OUR TOAD NEEDS A NAME......Can you help us out? Send your inspired ideas to Rose and we will announce the winner, in our APRIL newsletter. Our "Name That Toad" winner will be honored at our up-coming AGM with a certificate of recognition and a small gift of appreciation.

Celebrating Respect and Diversity Week a t James Hill Elementary
On Friday, March 2, Langley Pos-Abilities Society takes its TOAD program to James Hill Elementary in Langley. Volunteers will guide the children through some exercises to help them to walk (or wheel!) a mile in the shoes of a child with disabilities. Sounds serious, but it really is a lot of fun! Consider suggesting this to your child's or grandchild's school. It will be an experience of a lifetime!

WE NEED A CHILD'S USED MANUAL WHEELCHAIR!

The child's wheelchair that goes with our TOAD presentation has wheeled away! We are so grateful to SelfCare Home Health in Surrey who have lent us theirs for our time at James Hill, but we are in desperate need of a replacement ASAP. Please keep us in mind if you have or know of someone who has one they are no longer needing.
