Why? Although the Post 434 Family has 79 years of dedicated service to the City of Chula Vista and 56 years in its current location, we never take forgranted that we are privileged to be near one of our great city parks and we have decided that this is another opportunity for us to give back to our community, rekindle some active community spirit, serve as good stewards of our park neighbor, and have a great time doing it.  If you ask some of the veterans and their familiies of Post 434 why we do this type of service throughout the year, the answer might just be as simple as the phrase we have recently adopted when approached with the question of "why":

This is who we are. This is what we do.

Thanks for your support!
We are the Chula Vista Post 434 Family!
We served our country proudly and continue today!
This is who we are!  This is what we do!
