Post-Production will be explored from a variety of perspectives and applications with a terrific group of esteemed editors, post-production specialists, and visual effects creators. Attendees can expect to learn from inside stories and experience on trends in the industry.  
     
The panel discussion will touch on workflow, the creative process, career lessons, new technology and innovations in the field.

Meet the Panelists..

 

Anders Beer - Director, General Gau

 

 

Anders was recruited from CalArts in 1996 to work on the early development of "Shrek" at the newly formed Dreamworks SKG in Glendale CA. Since then Anders has been a veteran of the animation industry focused primarily on the production of digital characters for film and television at studio's such as Walt Disney Feature Animation, Dreamworks Animation, Digital Domain, Sony Pictures Imageworks, and Double Negative VFX.  Most recently Anders was an animation supervisor for Double Negative VFX in London where he began in 2007 supervising the 'Tooth
Fairy' sequence for "Hellboy 2", and later supervise the animation production on the feature film "Paul". His work on "Paul" was recognized with a VES award nomination for 'Outstanding Animated Character in a Live Action Feature Motion Picture'. Anders is currently partnered with Brickyard VFX in a character animation startup called "General Gau". Shondra's editor credits include Errol Morris' unforgettable award-winning feature documentary, "Fast, Cheap, and Out of Control" and Morris' Bravo TV series, FIRST PERSON: The Parrot, The Stalker, I Dismember Mama, and Digging up the Past. Her work has aired theatrically, on PBS, MTV, Bravo and nationally for spots. Shondra has also worked closely with Pete Favat of Arnold Worldwide to edit the documentary "I Can't Breathe" for MTV, and the award-winning national anti-smoking spots for TRUTH. Shondra has been the main editor of numerous documentaries including: "The Flute Player", "Adrift: Lost on the Road of Expectations", and "Jamming". She has also edited and post-produced commercials for: Ford, Sony, MDPH, City Year, NHL, Boston Globe, Stride Rite, Bose...and campaign films for Boston Public Health Commission, Smith College, Mt.
