Turck Expands Industrial Ethernet Cable Offering with C1D2 Cables

Turck announced the addition of three new Industrial Ethernet cables, suitable for use in Class I Division 2 applications. The cable specs are 22 AWG stranded Ethernet, with an ITC rating. When used with M12 connectors, the cordsets are covered by Turck’s FM approval (reference documents NI-2.401 for FM, and NI-2.403 for CSA).

This video demonstrates how to use a weld nut sensor, a teaching adaptor and a test box to teach a weld nut sensor to detect the presence of another weld nut sensor.
BL2 – The new small form factor industrial PC

The new BL2 series of industrial PCs from Phoenix Contact features fan-less, high-performance CPUs at an attractive price point and small form-factor. They are available in three performance classes (1000/2000/7000) and feature optional WIFI 802.11 a/b/g/n integration. The single board design and latest M.2 solid-state mass storage increases ruggedness. It’s all-metal housing features an integrated VESA 100 mount. The BL2 series is available as a blind-node box IPC and as a panel PC with resistive-touch screen sizes ranging from 12” to 17”. The box IPCs can also be easily combined with the new BL FPM monitor series, which features capacitive, multi touch in three wide screen sizes ranging from 15.6” to 21.5”.
