Kindergarten round-up
is Tuesday!

We're ready to meet your incoming kindergarteners! Join us Tuesday from 6:30-8:00 p.m.

We'll have activities for your incoming kindergartener while we give parents the download of what to expect the first year.

If you haven't already, please print out and complete the following forms and bring them with you:
What to bring to round-up:
  • Certified copy of your child's birth certificate
  • Immunization records
  • Proof of residency (in the form of a utility bill, contract for a home, or a lease)
  • Checkbook (YCare enrollment, activities sign-up, school directory, spirit wear, etc.)
We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!



Preschool event Thursday

Bring your future student to Prairie this Thursday from 8:30-9:15 for an art activity! It's our last preschool event of the year, and is a great way to get your child more familiar with Prairie.

Sign up for Field Day

It's almost time for Field Day - a day full of fun and games! Please sign up to help run a station. The 6th graders run this event, and we need parent volunteers to assist the 6th grader in charge at each station - please sign up for a time slot here .

Date: Friday, April 28
Time: Grades K-2 - Morning
         Grades 3-5 - Afternoon

Pre-order summer hanging baskets

Order your summer hanging baskets from Prairie and help support the Prairie Experience Fund, which funds programs like ROAD, Box City, Wildwood, etc.

Prairie has partnered with Family Tree Nursery - we're selling 10" Boston ferns, 10" hanging Impatiens and 10" hanging Geranium baskets for $20 a piece.

You can print out this form  and turn in to the office with payment, or order online here.

Orders are due by May 5, and can be picked up May 12.

Purchase Carnival wristbands now

The carnival is a fun way to end the school year, and wristbands give you all access to carnival fun and all "the extras." Parents and kids 2 and under are FREE!

And don't forget to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to dunk Mrs. Jones! Purchase wristbands and raffle tickets here.

Mom Prom a huge success!

Our inaugural Mom Prom raised $1,470.00

Hostesses Tara Brant, Lacy Bush, Michelle Cunningham, Molly Kohring, Michelle Oettmeier, Betsy Ordonez, Lainie Reuter and Christy Russell would like to thank you for all of your support in making it a success! Also a big thank you to Chad Wood for being the DJ.

We're already looking forward to next year!
