Grade level parties were a BIG success!

Thank you for attending and contributing to the grade level parties. We are excited to announce - the parties raised $14,166 for Prairie! Your donations help jumpstart our annual fundraising - which fund key staff positions & programs (school counselor, reading specialist and our Spanish program). We appreciate your help in making this goal possible!
A HUGE thank you to these parents for opening their homes for Prairie: Sara & Jason Dippel, Christy & Charles Sanders, Gabrielle & Joe Beam, David Zugelder & Jen Cuscino, Rachel & Colby LaHue, Lindsey & Scott Rosemann and Susan & Chris Giffin.
If you missed a party or are interested in making a donation- there's still time to donate. Please drop off your cash or check (payable to SMEF) in the Prairie office (c/o Prairie Fund). In the check memo line, please list specific grade level party (i.e. 1st grade, 4th grade, etc.).

Volunteer for the auction

Don't forget to mark your calendar for Prairie Elementary's annual fundraising auction on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Vox Theater. Tickets will go on sale soon.
The auction is the school's biggest fundraiser of the year. Fundraising is an essential element of the public school system helping finance key programs and funding student activities. At Prairie, our fundraising dollars have gone toward student support programs like the reading specialist and school counselor as well as enrichment programs like Spanish.
T he auction contributes the greatest percentage of funds to these special programs (close to 80%). Every dollar raised goes directly into the Prairie Fund . There is a silent auction, a live auction and Fund-a-Need. Auction items can include anything from a gift basket to a puppy!
Even if all you do is purchase tickets- every single dollar helps . Plus, it's a great way to meet other parents and enjoy a fun night out.
As with any event, it's the volunteers who help bring it to life. Right now, we're looking for volunteers to help arrange our auction items for display. Click here to volunteer.
If you any questions please contact Adriana Morehead or Sally Cook.
