Volunteer at SMAC's
Clothing Exchange Center

Did you know Prairie (and all Shawnee Mission Schools) support the Shawnee Mission Area Council Clothing Exchange Center?

This includes financial support to purchase items, and also providing volunteers to work at the Center. We're looking for five volunteers to help at the Clothing Exchange Center on Monday, February 6 from 8:30-11:00 am

Every school in the Shawnee Mission School District gets an opportunity to volunteer at the center - it's a great way to help others in our community. Volunteers help sort and hang donations and assist customers. Please contact Carol Solenberger to volunteer.

The Clothing Exchange Center is located at Indian Creek Technology Center (4401 W. 103rd Street).

In return, during their library class, they will get to choose two new books to bring home! Please feel free to begin sending books during the week of Jan. 9. Please contact librarian Lori O'Neal with any questions.
