2016 Snowball Project
a Huge Success!

Our Prairie families and staff really stepped up and are providing Operation Breakthrough families with a holiday to remember. Thank you so much to everyone that participated. Your generosity is extraordinary! Together, we collected close to 200 gifts and meal donations, plus 60 rolls of wrapping paper! Amazing.

Special thanksto the 6th grade leadership community outreach committee that took charge and gave so much of themselves, the 6th grade teachers for giving them time out of class to run the show, plus Seretha Fisher and Ellen Schulte in the office and Lori O'Neal in the library for letting the overwhelming amount of gifts invade their spaces.

Use Amazon Smile For Purchases

Prairie is now listed among the charitable organizations in the Amazon Smile program. When you start your Amazon shopping here , 0.5% of the price of your eligible Amazon Smile purchase is donated back to Prairie.

Every time you shop on Amazon, follow this link to access the Smile Portal for Prairie. OR, use the Amazon Assistant Browser Toolbar add-on every time you order to make sure Prairie gets the proceeds. Prairie Elementary PTA should appear directly beneath the search toolbar:

Author Ted McCanna visit

Prairie K-2 students will be meeting author Ted McCanna in an author event at our very own Prairie Library December 13.

Mr. McCanna will be promoting his new book "Bitty Bot." This lively story about a rambunctious little "bot" is getting wonderful reviews!

Be watching for Rainy Day Book fliers to come home with your child as  you will have the opportunity to purchase autographed copies of the book.

Please contact Mrs. O'Neal with any questions you might have. Happy Reading!

Father-Daughter Dance January 6
