"Every adventure requires a first step" - Cheshire Cat
Now that you have taken the first step and purchased your tickets, (if not, click here) prepare for the next step and get ready for a fun and exciting night as we continue down the rabbit hole filled with fantastic items awaiting your bids! With limited tickets remaining -  now is the time to grab a friend, a neighbor, a new Prairie family and invite them to attend this exciting annual event.

Take a Bow!

There was singing, dancing, comedy, musical instruments, whistling and emceeing that proved, once again, that Prairie's quite a talented bunch!
Thank you to Meghan Black, for planning the event, and for all the parents who stepped in to provide support behind the scenes:
The Walburns           Amy Taylor               Stephanie Meeker
Chad Wood              Capri Swanson         Jenne Parks
And a special shout out to the 6th Grade Leadership Committee for doing their part, and to our custodian Emmanuel Ogundaisi for setting up, taking down and helping with clean-up efforts.

Upcoming Forums to Discuss Moving Sixth  Grade to Middle School

The district is reaching out to the community to gain feedback on moving sixth  grade from elementary to middle school. Parents are invited to attend these meetings and share their viewpoints on this potential change. While no decisions have been made, implementation may take place as early as the 2018-2019 school year if the district decides to move forward.
We encourage you to attend one of these events (or all if you like) to stay informed. These meetings are open to the public and will be held from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of each location:
  • February 23: Hocker Grove Middle School
  • February 25: Trailridge Middle School
  • March 10: Indian Hills Middle School
  • March 21: Indian Woods Middle School
  • March 24: Westridge Middle School
