Enjoy a Night of Kid-Free Shopping

The auction committee is showing the Polar Express movie Thursday, December 8 from 6-8:30 pm in the Prairie Gym. Drop your kids off in their pjs at Prairie (the 6th graders will watch them) while you enjoy some holiday shopping time at The Learning Tree (Corinth location only).

The Learning Tree will donate 10% of purchases back to Prairie for every purchase made by a Prairie family that night.

By purchasing your auction tickets early, you can add on a movie ticket for the showing of the Polar Express for a discounted price of $25 (per family)!
Note: only children who attend Prairie are eligible to attend the movie.
Click here, and select the "Purchase Tickets" tab to purchase today!
If you're unable to attend the auction, your child can still join the fun at the Polar Express party. To purchase a ticket, go to the "Shop Items" tab on the above link and click on Polar Express ticket to buy a movie ticket.
$5 from each ticket sold to the Polar Express movie will be donated to the Prairie Experience Fund.

Thank you for supporting Prairie!

PTA Executive Board Call for Nominations

The school year is almost half over and we're starting to plan for next year's PTA Executive Board. Do you know someone who would be interested in serving as a PTA board member? We're looking for committed parents interested in becoming more involved at Prairie. For more information about the board positions, check out the PTA website.

We're also needing a few parent volunteers to serve on the Nominating Committee (this committee will help form the PTA board for the 2017-18 school year). The time commitment is 1-2 meetings in December/January.

Please contact Carol Solenberger or Allison Hughes with nominations or with any questions.

Give the Gift of Unique Art

The holiday season is quickly approaching and what better gift to give, than a piece of your child's artwork?  Did you know that you can order various gifts with your child's artwork?

Sign up with Artsonia and start browsing.

Congrats to Girls on the Run!

Congratulations to the Prairie 3-5th grade girls who participated in this fall's Girls on the Run team.  The season culminated at the Girls on the Run 5k at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday, November 19th.  We are so proud of all that you have accomplished!
