BCS Prayer Partner Letter

My hand is over my mouth as I consider what God has done in birthing TBI back in 1998 and nurturing it over the years and maturing it into BCS. We have come so far and we have so much more ground to cover. The team God has assembled and the students He draws to us year after year is one of the great joys of my life. I praise God for how the fragrance of Christ is being spread through our graduates and through our current students.
I am also also deeply thankful for each of you whom He has drawn together to surround us in prayer. Even as the right faculty, staff, systems, facilities, etc., are gradually coming together into a beautifully fine-tuned machine--unless the Lord builds the house, those who labor will only labor in vain. So our plea to you is to continue in prayer that the mission of BCS will be increasingly accomplished through God's grace.
Here are some ways you can pray for us in this coming week:
- Thank God with us for great things he has done in and through BCS. We are continually amazed at what he is doing.
- Pray for the undergraduate admissions process. We would like to see several more completed applications before we finalize our incoming class for the Fall.
- The end of the school year brings many events, and much planning has begun already for the upcoming academic year. Pray for our staff as we navigate through a busy season of preparing for graduation and other upcoming events.
- We are drawing nearer to the end of our fiscal year, as well. Please pray that God would be moving hearts and providing for our needs. Stewarding finances well requires much discernment on the part of both the giver and the receiver, so pray that God would grant wisdom both to us and our donors.
