Dear Prayer Warriors,

Coralee discovered she was pregnant and panicked. She knew there was a possibility that the baby wasn't her boyfriend's and shame drove her to want to get an abortion. She made an appointment at Freedom of Choice, since they had given her a medical abortion a few years ago. To her relief, they had an appointment available immediately. Coralee knew in her heart it wasn't a good option but she wouldn't let herself think about it too much.

When the nurse at Freedom of Choice offered her the abortion pill, she took it in her hand and stared at it. She looked up hesitantly at the nurse, who seemed to want her to hurry up and get it over with. Coralee quickly popped the pill into her mouth and swallowed. The nurse said, "Okay, now that that's done. There's no going back at this point." She handed Coralee more small pills to take the next day. "These pills will cause contractions and finish the abortion for you." She walked out feeling defeated and guilt-ridden.

She mustered up the courage to tell her mom what she had just done and her mom replied, "That's murder." Coralee burst into tears, knowing that her mother was right. She frantically went online in search of a way to stop the abortion and found "Abortion Pill Reversal." Within an hour, Coralee was sitting in CompassCare's office and, after receiving some information about the pregnancy-sustaining progesterone therapy, eagerly agreed to the regimen.

The ultrasound exam revealed a seven week old baby, still very much alive.  Coralee smiled with relief and willingly took her first dose of progesterone. Afterwards, her nurse shared the beauty of God's mercy and grace, and that God sent Jesus to rescue her from the shame and guilt she has. Coralee wept as she prayed for God's forgiveness and to surrender her life to Him. Please pray for Coralee and for the health of her baby during these critical next few days.
