Did you know? The Unmanned Aerial Systems is a fast growing field with countless application possibilities. The industry is expected to create over 100,000 new jobs in the next ten years. There are many industries exploring the use of UAVs including security and law enforcement, search and rescue, agriculture, geographic surveying, and aerial photography. In addition, this Course also prepares students to take the test for the FAA Part 107 Operations Certificate.
The Small Systems UAS Operator Certificate will train you to operate small system UASs weighing less than 55 lbs. Courses are based on current technology and regulations, the certificate will be updated as necessary to comply with any changes in FAA policy.
Students receive a small drone to practice basic flight skills and the course culminates with a hands on flight day using DJI and Yuneec equipment.
