Since arriving in St. Louis, I’ve heard so much about the Missouri Botanical Garden. Last week I and a group of people volunteering at the office went over for lunch at Sassafras Café. The volunteers talked up the garden on the trip over. The place was filled with people coming and going; talking with one another about the various flowers and plants. LU-Concert at Second Presbyterian
The Lincoln University Vocal Ensemble from Jefferson City, Missouri presents a concert on Sunday, March 26 at 4:00 pm at Second Presbyterian Church. Under the direction of Michelle Gamblin-Green, the choir will present a varied program from traditional choral literature, spirituals, and music from other cultures. ECO VIDEO NITE IN FERGUSON
The next Eco Video Nite in Ferguson at the St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 33 N. Clay Avenue, Tuesday, March 28 at 7 p.m., will show the film, "The Doctrine of Discovery". The Ferguson Eco Team is composed of people from various churches and communities in the Ferguson area, which includes members of First Presbyterian, Ferguson and Second Presbyterian, St. Louis.

This morning retreat offered at Ladue Chapel Presbyterian Church, will be held on Saturday, April 1; 9 a.m.- 12 p.m. The cost is just $10 per person includes materials and a light breakfast. They have discovered over 100 resources are outstanding and are tracking them down. Check your desks and bookshelves, and if you no longer use the resources, please return them to the Resource Center. MISSION & OUTREACH ANNOUNCE
Summer Grants Available to conduct summer programs are available to member churches and social agencies in relationship with the Presbytery of Giddings-Lovejoy. The funds will be awarded through an application process directed by the Mission and Outreach Ministry Team. The purpose of the grants is to provide opportunities for summer Christian education and witness, personal growth, and recreation to children and adults in communities of need. The Ministry Teamʼs deadline for receipt of applications is March 31, 2017, no later than 3:57 p.m. Continue for more information and begin your application.
