Christmas Tree Recycling Sites Open Through Monday
The City of La Vista is once again offering free drop sites for Christmas trees at the following locations:
  • La Vista Soccer Complex parking lot (two blocks south of Harrison Street on 66th Street)
  • Kelly West Parking Lot (87th Street and Park View Boulevard)

Drop off sites will be open through January 15. All decorations, tinsel and plastic bags must be removed prior to disposal.

The collected trees will be chipped into mulch, which is available to residents free of charge.
Book Time for Grown Ups
Storytime isn't just for kids anymore! Book Time for Grown Ups is a book club where you don't have to read the book yourself! Please join us each Friday this fall at 10 a.m. at the La Vista Senior/Community Center. (There will be no meeting on November 24.)

Listen to a variety of books chosen by the group. Afterwards freely discuss the book and related topics.

A shuttle bus is available.
