ECC Families,

Wow! What a beautiful weekend! I hope everyone was able to spend some of it outside enjoying God's creation. Here we are at the end of April and the Fifth Sunday of Easter. As we begin May let's take a moment to reflect on our year and all of the blessings we have received. I know myself and our staff have felt so honored to spend this school year with your children. May is going to be a busy month, especially for our Pre-K students as they start practicing for their Graduation on Wednesday, May 16. Our teachers will be reviewing curriculum objectives with their students so they can summarize their growth and development over the year on the final assessment. We will have our final Monday spanish class tomorrow, Ms. Patty will have a couple more Stretch-n-Grow classes with our toddlers and twos and another special class with preschool and pre-k and we will host Dino O'Dell for our end of the year picnic. All of our summer information has been posted on our website and packets were sent home on Friday. We need all signed permission slips returned by June 4. Rosters are set and any additional fees will be charged to your students tuition account in May. Since our staffing is in place for the summer It is unlikely we will be able to make any changes to rosters or schedules at this point. Enjoy the rest of the beautiful weekend!

Summer Session Rosters and Calendar are Posted
We added a page to the current families section on our website. We have posted summer rosters as well as the summer activities calendar and any other summer related information. All fees related to schedule changes and holding fees will be applied to your May tuition bill. At this point we will be unable to make changes to rosters or schedules. If you have a concern please email Cathy Koob, Director at ckoob@olpls.org





Pre-K Group Picture
We successfully took our Pre-K group picture on Thursday, April 26. I can't say it didn't go off with out a hitch but we improvised and made it work. Thank you to all of the parents who brought their student out on their unscheduled day to participate. We will get another group picture the night of graduation. We will send out a copy of the pictures by email.
Pre-K Graduation
Wednesday, May 16!
Our PreK Graduation is right around the corner! Make sure to mark the date on your calendar for this wonderful evening of celebrating your PreK student. The graduation event will take place on Wednesday, May 16 at 7:00 PM at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church. Below you will find a link to information about this event. Our office has ordered the caps and tassels and will verify we have one for every child graduating, however we will not pass them out until the week of the event. Your child's teacher will be sending out more information in the weeks to come. If you have questions feel free to email or call anytime.


Dino O'Dell at End of Year Celebration!
We will be kicking up our heels and having some fun with Dino O'Dell at our End of Year Celebration on Friday, May 25. We hope you will join us. More details will be coming home in the weeks to come.
Parent Reminders
We need to send out a few reminders about some policies.

  1. Checking in and out your student. We need for all families to make sure you are using the kiosk to check your child in and out everyday. This is a very important step and we need your help to make sure it gets done each day. If you have trouble with the finger scanner or pin number just ask one of the office staff and we would be more than happy to get your child checked in or out.
  2. Breakfast needs to be complete by 7:30 am. We allow families to bring in breakfast items in the morning for their child to eat but we ask that all families understand this time is over at 7:30 am. We realize everyone can be running late from time to time so just check with the office staff before leaving your child at a breakfast table if it is already close to 7:30 am.

Your help with adhering to these policies allows our center to run more smoothly.
