October is Italian Heritage & Culture Month.

Italians  and those of Italian descent have had an enormous impact upon history, popular culture, politics, religion, science, medicine and the arts, among other areas. Professor Leonini returns to Casa Belvedere to explore with us what were the Italian contributions specifically in science, medicine and technology through the centuries, and how these continue to impact our modern world.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER 

     Professor Louis R. Leonini is a teacher of the Italian language and history. In addition to teaching, Louis co-founded the Speaker's Bureau and, as such, delivers lectures and presentations on Italian history and culture in the NY/NJ area.
