Warm greetings PMA friends and family,
Spring will soon be here, at least according to the calendar. What a winter it has been! Here's to hoping that with the arrival of Day Light Savings Time, we will see warmer weather and the melting of snow before spring track and field season begins!
As usual, there is so much going on on our campus. Take a look at some of our happenings in this edition of Presentation of Mary Academy ePathways!

2nd Annual Alumni Basketball Game
On Sunday, March 8, 2015 PMA alumni took on PMA's varsity Panthers in the Second Annual Alumni Basketball game to benefit the Cathy Habeeb Shaheen, '87 Memorial Scholarship. The event was organized by the family, classmates, and friends of Cathy. Thirteen alumni returned for some March madness. While the students claimed victory (27-22) and bragging rights over the alumni, all had a great time and raised over $1,5000 for a great cause. If you were not able to attend but would like to contribute, please contact Paula Mansor-Laliberte, '82. A special "thank you" to Diane Cormier Martin, '86 for organizing this new PMA tradition, and to all the alumni players: Leah Gerst Pinette, '89, Katlyne Britner, '14, Stephanie Sabando, '06, Melissa Michaud Chirwa, '01, Lauren Mucci, '06, Cat Violette DeSabella, '83, Krista Butland Paduchowski, '02, Maureen Wilson Leal, '94, Katie Dickman,'03, Chanelle Garcia, '14, Rose Maria DiFiore Redman, '85, and Sandra Altovino, '06.

MIchael Walsh, '16
Michael is a self-described "sports fanatic." He can talk about any sport and one day hopes to so so professionally, with a career in sports broadcasting. For the past two years, Michael has been learning all he can about the industry first hand. On weekends, Michael is an intern on the legendary WCCM radio show
, "Let's Talk Sports with Frankie Benjamin." Michael assists on-air personalities with everything from running the sound-board, adjusting microphones, and making sure the hosts can take calls. One of his most important responsibilities is to screen the callers wishing to speak on live-radio. Fortunately, most of the shows callers are "regulars." He is very appreciative of the opportunity to learn sports broadcasting from knowledgeable mentors at WCCM. Not only does Michael enjoy talking about sports, he also enjoys playing. For the past three years he as played for the PMA's boys' basketball team as a shooting guard.
