10 If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.
After spending most of the day yesterday in the local Emergency Room, I was finally diagnosed with Gallstones!
Just what I needed!!????
Admit it-WE ALL HAVE THOSE DAYS WHEN WE WANT TO JUST GIVE UP!!!!
I don't feel good-have not felt good for several weeks now-as the years pile up and nature takes it toll.
My beloved son wrote me today and I quote:
"Jimmy Carter is 92 years old and was hospitalized for a heat stroke for building a house.
As soon as he left the hospital he went back to the same house to work.
He didn't say... "well, this could be the end because I am 92 years old."
A few months earlier he had cancer and made the statement, "I look forward to fighting this cancer and continue to live."
He and God made a good tag-team today-
We ALL need a little push MANY times, not just SOME times.
As I sit here with Amanda again-AGAIN her nurse was unable to work today, I write this message.
As I typed this, I can hear Joshua's admonition one time when I complained about having no where to write.
He reminded me of the Apostle Paul doing his Writing in a cruel and dark dungeon, and that he also is forced to pen his sermons from an UN-heated and UN-air condition cell.
I urge you to read this excellent message from my second favorite book-THE DISCIPLINES OF LIFE:
I read it again before I typed this sermon!
I might as well use another quote and Scripture from Joshua:
1 Corinthians 16:9 (KJV)
9 For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
TODAY, if YOU are still in this battle of life, there is and WILL be "MANY adversaries!!!"

33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
So TOIL ON SOLDIER OF CHRIST!!!

I suppose it is only fitting to close with Joshua Drucker's words:
