Welcome to the June edition of The Post and thanks for opening this to read about some updates on activities around your Club.
At our last Executive Meeting we resolved that membership subscriptions for Season 2018 / 2019 should remain as is - that would mean a membership freeze for three consecutive seasons!
Prudent financial management over the last three seasons has allowed for us to consider such a decision and although it is subject to ratification by the membership at the (July) AGM, soon after we will accept membership renewals for the coming new season and all going well with no increase!
I'm pleased to be able to report that some significant behind the scenes progress is being made with the Back Beach Base project and hope that in coming months we will have a final agreed design and a secure plan to fund this essential coastal safety asset which we can share more broadly.
Several months ago I advised that we were creating a volunteer position of 'Relocation Coordinator', to assist with the large task of preparing for our move when we are without the Clubhouse and also for the 'during and after'. I'm pleased to advise that Andrew MacLeod has been appointed and he's now on the lookout for some helpers, so feel to get in touch with him on 0417 057 080.
To assist with Andrew's current workload, Building Committee Chair Chris Harper is taking over as Chair of the Back Beach Base working group and Andrew will be assisted more in his LERT duties as well.
It's great to see Ronnie back at work in the Office and thanks Di for helping to cover Ronnie in recent weeks.
The date for the AGM has been set, with formal notification (Agenda) to be sent soon from the Secretary, but please add the morning of Sunday15th July at the Clubhouse- 11am start.
We are on the lookout for someone to head up the Club's Marketing area. Ideally you'll be confident in talking with potential sponsors and looking after existing sponsors and a large portfolio of resources is on hand to assist you!

|From the New Clubhouse Capital Campaign Committee
It is with great pleasure that the NCCCC Committee advise that we have just pushed through the $1.54 million mark in pledges.
The total banked as of today is $786,451.87.
With the end of the financial year approaching, it's a great time to make your donation count in the 2017 / 2018 financial year. Please get your donations in now so that they can be issued pre 30 June and we will promptly issue you with a tax deductible receipt.
As a reminder, the NCCC, with the endorsement of the Executive Committee, is offering major donors the opportunity to name a room or space within the new building and grounds as a form of recognition for their support of the project.
The NCCC is currently working through these options with major donors to date - but if anyone is interested in supporting the capital campaign and would be interested to know more about the opportunity to have a form of naming recognition in an area of the building, they should contact Paul Conroy on the NCCC on email@example.com or on 0422003101
