Closures and Operating Hours for Independence Day
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Charlottesville Parks & Recreation will have modified operating hours and closures on Wednesday, July 4th, for the Independence Day holiday. Please refer to the list below for details:

  • Administration Offices: Closed 
  • Carver Recreation Center: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • Crow Recreation Center: Closed
  • Community/Housing Centers: Closed
  • Farmers in the Park (Meade Park): Closed
  • Key Recreation Center: Noon – 4:00 pm
  • Meadowcreek Golf Course: 7:00 am – 8:00 pm
  • Onesty Family Aquatic Center: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Smith Aquatic & Fitness Center: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm 
  • Spray Grounds: 10:00 am – 8:00 pm
  • Tonsler Recreation Center: Noon – 4:00 pm
  • Washington Park Center: Closed
  • Washington Park Pool: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm

Please note: Farmers in the Park at Meade Park normally occurs on Wednesdays, but will be closed on Independence Day and Onesty Family Aquatic Center will be open instead.
