Spring Education 2018:
The Practice of Building Trust
6/18/18 - This year’s 2018 Spring Education Series theme was “ Risk Management by Design - the Practice of Building Trust.” The Education Series introduced Medical Improv - an innovative train the trainer program featuring interactive activities designed to improve emotional intelligence, communication, teamwork, and leadership. Over 250 Directors of Nursing, Executive Officers, and all levels of staff who focus on risk management from Caring Communities and Peace Church Risk Retention Group Member Organizations attended this year – signaling year of outstanding attendance. 
What is Medical Improv?
Medical Improv is an effective teaching strategy for developing and practicing essential c ommunication skills that promote healthy dynamics such as respect and collaboration in relationships, teams, and departments across an organization. Following the workshop, attendees could return to their organizations empowered to teach these communication strategies to staff as part of their setting realistic expectations initiatives (SRE). Caring Communities was proud to welcome Beth Boynton, author and speaker, as the conference speaker. Her engaging style and ability to make improv accessible to everyone made this year’s Spring Education a memorable one.
About Spring Education
