Mitrani, Caballero & Ruiz Moreno strengthens  its
Energy & Natural Resources and Infrastructure practices and reorganizes its IP practice

In the year of our 10th anniversary, we are pleased to announce several significant developments involving the firm and its practices.

In a context of increased interest in investments in the energy and infrastructure sectors in Argentina, we are boosting our service offerings in these areas with the addition of several highly regarded practitioners.

María Laura Lede Pizzurno, María Paula Terrel and Matias Olcese have joined our Energy & Natural Resources practice, with special dedication to the Mining & Metals sector. Ms. Lede will also enhance our Infrastructure, Life Sciences and Environmental law capabilities. All three of them are former partners of HOLT Abogados, a 4-partner specialist firm and a leader in the mining industry for the past 9 years, which recently ceased operations.

In addition, Mariana Ardizzone has joined the firm to head our Oil & Gas practice. Ms. Ardizzone, one of leading practitioners in the Oil & Gas industry in Argentina, founded Ardizzone Abogados, was a partner with Maciel, Norman & Asociados, and an in-house counsel at Bridas S.A.P.I.C. and Pan American Energy LLC.

We believe that these additions will reinforce our already strong Energy & Natural Resources and Infrastructure practices, which include partners Horacio Ruiz Moreno, Gustavo Cedrone, Julio Martinez and María Recondo.

Finally, we are reorganizing our Intellectual Property practice. Our former partners Juan Carlos Ojam, Mercedes Bullrich and Raquel Flanzbaum, together with 11 members of their team, will continue their careers at Berton Moreno & Asociados. In turn, our Intellectual Property practice will continue under the leadership of partner Ignacio Bereterbide and a team of ten senior lawyers and patent & trademark agents. While we will retain full IP capabilities, our IP team will focus on highly complex IP matters, including consulting on disruptive technologies, and on entrepreneurship, start-ups, fin-tech, innovative businesses, entertainment and advertising matters.

Following these developments, the firm has been renamed Mitrani, Caballero & Ruiz Moreno. With 24 partners and over sixty lawyers, we expect to accompany the growth of the Argentine economy and expand our service offerings to other sectors and practices.

More information about the firm and its practice is available at our website.
