Stay Tuned for Decision on Weather Delays or Closures
snowflakes2.jpg

We ask for your patience in waiting for a decision on whether there will be a delay or closure for tomorrow due to road conditions. It's never a decision taken lightly and we hope to have enough information this evening to make a decision. Whether or not there is a delay or school is in session, we STRONGLY urge parents to drive their high school students to school who normally drive themselves in.
Wellness Office Hiring Assistant; Mrs. O'Leary to Return to Medicine

A position will be open soon in the Wellness Office at PLP. Mrs. Ryan O'Leary will be leaving her post as Wellness Office Assistant.  While it is PLP's loss, it is a gain to the local community where she will return to practice medicine.

Whether it's applying a bandage over a hangnail or checking the blood sugar of a student with diabetes, Mrs. O'Leary's calm and friendly personality has been a welcomed help to Mrs. Long, School Nurse.

"She has been such an asset in maintaining the wellness of our students," said Mrs. Sims, "and I  am happy to report that she is in the process of reinstating her medical license to return to pediatrics.   Ryan  says that we inspired her to return to medicine."

The full job description is posted on the PLP web site, or find a direct link here
