PTO News

From the PTO President:

The Lower School Book Fair results are in and they are amazing! Through your participation and generosity, $18,240 in books and merchandise were purchased during the PTO's Fall Book Fair, which raised $4,521 for the PTO Lower School Literacy Grant! Your support for our teachers is also incredible. You all donated $1,002 in Literacy Gift Cards for our teachers to buy books for their classrooms! Thank you so much to everyone who supported our Book Fair and helped teachers get books in their classrooms and raise funds for our school.

This event would not have been possible without the hard work of our committee co-chairs  Barbara McCaskillJackie Cowie DominoJennifer Watson Green, and  Brandy Lanney as well as the many, many volunteers who helped with set-up, check-out, and break-down over the course of the week. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedules to make this event a huge success!

The PTO has a new program for Teacher Grants while you shop! When you order an e-gift card through PTO, you will get a full face value gift card EMAILED to you within 24 hours of ordering/paying online AND help raise money for Teacher Grants at no additional cost to you!
  • Over 40 retailers included.
  • E-gift cards are full face value and do not expire.
  • E-gift cards will be emailed to you. You can then print the e-gift cards as gifts or use to shop yourself!
  • Each of these retailers will give 4%-16% back to PTO at no additional cost to the consumer. For example, when you purchase a $25 e-gift card to Lands' End, you pay $25 and Lands' End gives 16% back - that is $4 towards Teacher Grants without costing you an extra penny!  The funds raised truly are free money!
  • 100% of the proceeds will support Teacher Grants. You decide to which school/team the proceeds go!
