Prince of Peace Lutheran Church
SUMMER 2017: Course Catalog
Dear Parents:

Summer is fast approaching and Prince of Peace is offering 11 WEEKS of Summer Day Camp this Summer. This Summer our overall theme is "Just Live It". James 1:22 reminds us: "Do not merely listen to the word...Do what is says!" This Summer we will spend our weeks looking into what the Word of God is telling us to do - and working on putting those words into practice. Think of it this way: The Bible has given us many ingredients on how to live a Godly life. Each week we will dig into some of those ingredients and work on putting together a recipe for life.

Please feel free to register for as many weeks as you would like, by clicking  Day Camp Registration

In addition to our 11 weeks of Summer Day Camp, we also head to WAPO for SEEDS Weekend (2nd and 3rd grade) and YOUTH Week (4th-6th grade). We have a certain number of spots reserved for both of these programs, and priority registration goes until March 15th. After that date - all spots are opened to a first come-first serve basis. You can register for WAPO by clicking,  WAPO Registration

FEARLESS DAY CAMP
As our older students are at WAPO, we will dive into the same stories that they are: In Mark 4 Jesus and the disciples were on a boat. As Jesus slept, an enormous storm surrounded the boat and the disciples feared for their lives. In the chaos of the storm, the disciples questioned if Jesus cared for them. Jesus quickly responded by quieting the storm. Jesus' questions that followed must have been humbling for the disciples to hear. Jesus said, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?"
WAPO ONE DAY:
An opportunity for young people to check out WAPO for one day and get a taste of what a whole week would look like. There will be a chance to register a little closer to the date, and there will be a $40 charge for those who are not enrolled in that week of Summer Day Camp.

MEGA SPORTS CAMP: CONQUER THE DAY
Everyone wants to win at sports, and at life, but what does it take to get victory? Kids will discover five ways that they can conquer the day through Bible stories, real life stories and more. They will also spend part of their days working on sports skills of their choosing.
