8:30 a.m. to Noon
Do you love to bake? POP's Hearts and Hands for Jamaica Team is having their annual Bake Sale on December 3rd and we are looking for donations - cookies, cakes, pies, bars, breads, candy or any other treats you would like to share. We will be at church on Saturday, December 2nd between 9:00 and noon to collect donations or you can bring them on Sunday morning.
Then before, during and after the church services on December 3rd you can select your favorite Christmas treats to share with family and friends during this holiday season. Monies received from the bake sale will be used for donations or projects with our Jamaica partners during our 2018 mission trip.
The 2018 POP Hearts and Hands for Jamaica Team
includes: Lori Clausen, Bill Fredrick, Kandy Gerber, Ann Goebel, Helen Kellerman, Jerry Laumann, Marian Hutchens, Marv Hutchens, Terri Revell, and Gerry Schroeder. Please continue to prayer for our team and our partners in Jamaica as we begin to plan and prepare for our trip leaving March 3, 2018. Thank you for your continued support!
The Prince of Peace Quilter's annual quilt sale is
Sunday, December 3 and 10
This year some of our smaller and medium quilts have flannel backs. Potholders will again be available. Come early for best selection! Quilts will be sold before and between the two services on 12/3, and before and after the Christmas program on 12/10/17.
Proceeds from the quilt sale are used to buy batting and supplies for quilts that are made and donated to the VA hospital, Salvation Army Harbor Light Center, Brooklyn Avenues for Youth, Sharing & Caring Hands, two women's shelters and the homeless.
Many THANKS to all who have donated cotton or cotton/polyester fabric or sheets to our group throughout this past year! Your support has been overwhelming!
We hope to see you at the quilt sale on December 3 & 10!

WELCOME TO PRINCE OF PEACE |

Welcome To Prince of Peace!
Check out our welcome video! This professionally produced video will give visitors to our website a glimpse of what we are all about at Prince of Peace. The video can also serve as a fantastic way to invite others to Prince of Peace. We bet that you know at least three people who are not active members in a local congregation. Take a moment and send them a quick email with the link to this video. We also encourage you to share the video on your own Facebook page. It is an easy and effective way to let folks know about the wonderful outreach and ministry happening at your church and to let them know that they are invited! |
