AFRICA OUTREACH MINISTRIES

A group of eleven people are preparing to depart for the 2017 PoP Tanzania Vision Trip. The participants in this year's trip will visit churches, schools, orphanages and hospitals. They will travel to remote villages to be welcomed into the humble homes of families living in small houses provided by the Africa Fund at Prince of Peace. Our group will also spend several days on safari in the breathtakingly beautiful and wild serengeti plains and in the fascinating Ngorongoro Crater.
You can follow the Vision Trip 2017 blog at this link.
Click on the "subscribe" button to receive email updates each time a new post is made to the blog.

One of the schools supported through our Africa Fund at PoP is the Rose Educational Centre Boarding School and Orphanage. The children are pictured in the link below, along with a brief description of their circumstances as provided by Rose, the founder and headmistress of the school.

Our group will visit this special place on Monday, June 19. While we are there, we hope to meet the most recent group of children who are being sponsored through gifts made to our Africa Fund. Their school fees and living expenses have been provided by generous donations and these children are beyond excited at the prospect of welcoming our group to sing songs of gratitude and to hold the hands of people they love dearly already!

THANK YOU FROM THE CARLSONS

D ear Friends,

We can't thank you enough for the prayers and support you gave
during Jim's illness and recent death.   You lifted us up with your love.

We were thankful to have the Memorial Service for Jim at Prince of Peace.  It felt like coming "back home". We are grateful to Pastor Chad, Pastor Natalia, Judy, the choir, Lynell, Katie, Jaime, Nikk and the kitchen crew and others behind the scenes who made this a day to honor and remember our dear Jim.

The gorgeous bouquet of flowers was a wonderful reminder of all the dear friends we have at Prince of Peace that we will forever cherish!

Thank you and God bless you!
Linda Carlson and family

WELCOME TO PRINCE OF PEACE

Welcome To Prince of Peace!

Check out our   welcome video! This professionally produced video will give visitors to our website a glimpse of what we are all about at Prince of Peace. The video can also serve as a fantastic way to invite others to Prince of Peace. We bet that you know at least three people who are not active members in a local congregation. Take a moment and send them a quick email with the link to this video. We also encourage you to share the video on your own Facebook page. It is an easy and effective way to let folks know about the wonderful outreach and ministry happening at your church and to let them know that they are invited!
