TANZANIA VISION TRIP 2018
|
|
June 14-27, 2018
A group is already forming for next year's trip to Tanzania. Our special guests on next year's trip will be Pastor Paul Oman and his entire family. Paul has shared his
Drawn to The Word ministry as a guest artist during worship at Prince of Peace on two memorable occasions.
Imagine being there while Paul shares this gift at a Lutheran church in a rural village on the lower slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro and his daughter Kelsey does the same at a Maasai Lutheran church out on the dusty plains of east Africa. This will be a once in a lifetime experience!

If you are able to bring a decorated car trunk, sign-ups are on the bulletin board in the Welcome Center. If you are looking for other ways to help - we can find those too.If you have any questions, contact Katie Rykal at [email protected].

HEARTS AND HANDS FOR JAMAICA
|
|
Prince of Peace ha
s
served in Jamaica for the past 14 years and as always, we continue to need the support and prayers from our families and friends at home.
We attend church while in Jamaica. Last year, we started to hang mosquito netting over the beds of the West Haven children who are not able to move around. We will continue this project in 2018.
In 2017 10 people from Prince of Peace served at West Haven Children's Home for the physically/mentally challenged children and young adults. We also spent time putting up a cement railing around the Faith Chapel's veranda, putting tile on floors and paint painting railing. Faith
Chapel is in the community of Copse where Prince of Peace is planning on attending three weeks in 2018 which gives everyone an opportunity to attend one, two or three weeks.
Dates for 2018 are M
arch 3rd - March 24th. We will spend the first week at West Haven and are still in the process of determining our mission for the other 2 weeks.
I
f you are interested in additional information or attending, contact Terri Revell at
[email protected]
or 763-566-0807. As our plans are firmed up we will be including information on the church website and announcements in church.

WELCOME TO PRINCE OF PEACE |
|
Welcome To Prince of Peace!
Check out our welcome video! This professionally produced video will give visitors to our website a glimpse of what we are all about at Prince of Peace. The video can also serve as a fantastic way to invite others to Prince of Peace. We bet that you know at least three people who are not active members in a local congregation. Take a moment and send them a quick email with the link to this video. We also encourage you to share the video on your own Facebook page. It is an easy and effective way to let folks know about the wonderful outreach and ministry happening at your church and to let them know that they are invited! |
