About NOMAD

Nomad Collective Art Compound is a 6000 square foot art lab in Los Angeles, CA. LA Artist/Designer Damon Robinson designed the space as an art studio, an event and exhibition space as well as home to his art/apparel lines Praise the Lowered and Black Van.

Damon got his first experiences with printmaking in his grandfather's (Joe Mugnaini) studio in Eagle Rock, CA. The surprises of analogue, and alchemic processes as well as the raw human elements were a profound inspiration for his work and his vision for the printmaking studio as a laboratory environment for co-creativity. Damon has taught at Art Center for Kids and LATTC.
