PROFIT is NOT a dirty word!!!!!
Or is it??????
OUR Bible CLEARLY states:
"
IN ALL LABOUR THERE IS PROFIT!"
In fact, it is God HIMSELF "which teacheth thee to PROFIT!"
Isaiah 48:17 (KJV)
17 Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
There is SATISFACTION in doing a job "well done!"
Ecclesiastes 9:10 (KJV)
10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
I THANK God I had parents who taught me the VALUE of a job well done.
No matter if it scrubbing a toilet bowl, washing a car, cleaning the counter top, or preaching to a small number of people, I was TAUGHT:
"
IF A JOB IS WORTH DOING, DO IT RIGHT!!"

Is PROFIT a dirty word or not-THAT is the question?

Genesis 3:19 (KJV)
19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
I WELL know that is the CURSE of God on all mankind for their disobedience!!!
BUT, I BELIEVE that "IN God, there is NO curse!!!"
It is a GOOD thing to sweat!!!
It feels good, it IS good, to sweat and lose a few pounds and get better health!!!!

8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
It is GOOD to have goals and ambitions:
Proverbs 29:18 (KJV)
18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
This is WHY people go to school and STUDY hard and WORK hard to better themselves and their families!!!
It is a GOOD thing for ALL of us to PRAY fervently and work diligently to reach as many souls for Christ!!!
Luke 6:38 (KJV)
38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
WE give, sweat, work daily in the FAITH and hope of a RETURN on OUR giving, sweating, and working!!!!
Proverbs 13:11 (KJV)
11 Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.
TODAY, "HE THAT GATHERETH BY LABOUR SHALL INCREASE!!"
PROFIT IS NOT A BAD WORD!!!
