Mission: Cuyahoga Community Team works across systems to improve physical, mental, and educational needs and increase access to appropriate resources and services for youth in Cuyahoga County.
Vision: Cuyahoga County children and families will be socially, emotionally, behaviorally, and academically resilient and productive citizens.
As the leaves continue to fall and the November air turns crisp, it is important that we remember to fall into good habits. In this issue, Project AWARE will highlight to awareness initiatives in November to encourage good habits for our youth, schools, families, and communities. Read about two local organizations that are working to foster these habits in our Partner Spotlight.
National Career Development Month
It is never too early to help prepare our youth for future work. It is important to show the important link between current learning and employment opportunities. The Ohio Department of Education offers comprehensive career development tools, online trainings, and resources for students and teachers. Programs range from interest-to-career mapping, resume building, identification of school/training programs, and budget building. ODE's Career Connections begin in kindergarten and offer practical ways for school counselors, teachers, families, and communities to show students the types of jobs available for them.

Effective parental engagement can lead to many positive outcomes for youth. -
Start Early
