2017 NAMLE Conference Call for Proposals

The 2017
National Association for Media Literacy Education (NAMLE) Conference
will take place in Chicago, Illinois, from June 27-June 28, 2017 at Roosevelt University and will highlight the vital role of media literacy in civic participation and a healthy, inclusive democracy.
The conference theme, "Engaging Citizens, Building Community," encapsulates the NAMLE conference's objective to bring stakeholders together to advance media literacy education policy and practice. Educators, scholars, policymakers, media professionals, elected officials, and community members will gather together to address different perceptions of media's role in a deeply divided political climate.
