Public Notice: Gulf Shores re-entry decals no longer being distributed
Gulf Shores, Ala - August 27, 2012 - In accordance to City of Gulf Shores Resolution 4653-09, once a Hurricane Warning has been issued for our area re-entry decals are no longer distributed to any residents, businesses or other entities. Once the storm has passed, we will notify the public when decals will begin being distributed again. In an effort to allow time for residents to make necessary preparations to evacuate, the City of Gulf Shores will not restrict re-entry onto the island until a time to be determined. At that time, re-entry will first be restricted to all non-residents and residents residing north of the Intracoastal Waterway.
Citizens residing outside of the Gulf Shores city limits, should check with their local municipalities for details specific to their area.
Residents seeking shelter information should contact the Baldwin County Emergency Management Agency at 251-972-6807 or visit their website at www.baldwincountyal.gov.
