Ongoing Refresh
A wonderful family has enjoyed almost 20 years in their home and is planning to enjoy 20 more. They decided that they wanted it to be refreshed and feel like a brand new home.
We decided to made certain structural changes which included changing tile in the entry, kitchen and laundry room, redoing all of the wood floors a consistent color, raise the ceiling in the master bedroom to add more height and beauty with a tray ceiling style, add a storage closet in the computer room and additional high hats for better lighting in some rooms as well. The living room fireplace and bookshelves will get a much needed makeover too with new stone and trim details. New furnishings throughout will complete our new transitional style. Family Friendly and Tranquil Elegance is our focus!
The family has just moved out for awhile as the new tile is being laid down and the floors redone to a beautiful consistent warm brown stain.

A Change of Scenery
We had a wonderful change of scenery skiing in Aspen, Colorado. It is an annual trip that we take to enjoy perfect ski conditions and visit family that live in town year round.
While there, we had a chance to visit the newly refurbished Jerome Hotel.
Built in the 1800's, this hotel is rich in history.
The decor was so well done we had to BLOG about it!
